YESSSH. After wasting the whole morning on gimp, got a (quite
good not bad) articuno, made from scratch.

Okay, you can spot as many mistakes as you want but I dont care. Partly cos gimp screwed up in transection from a xcf to gif file. ._.
Anw, kudos to Sandy who suggested me to waste time drawing an articuno. FTW.

400th post! In which I have to waste this historical moment with a super boring entry.
Actually, I was waiting for this blog's birthday (3 days later LOL) to post, but I got sick of waiting. Well, not that there's anything to blog about today.
Woke up with my mom telling me that yanyi called that THERE IS BFA PRACTICAL TODAY. Good job to me, cos I totally forgot.
So I amazingly got ready at breakneck speed to school to find out that it sort of started late cos need to wait for the people earlier. Ohwell.
Bfa was quite fail, with alot of critism about how loose I tie elevation sling and how tight I tie head bandage. I know, I don't get it either.

Line of the day:
"you can successfully fail at life" (talking abt gaming) - Probably the most ingenious oxymoronic line I've ever made.
Phrase of the day:
You be the judge. I will be the jury. Except, instead of paying attention and taking notes, I'll be doing a Sudoku. You hear that, court system? STOP CALLING ME FOR JURY DUTY! I have the attention span of

Congrats to SNGS on ENGINEERING WEEK, which was ultra amusing I tell ya.
1. SPVC (solar powered vehicle comp) = FAIL. Seriously. The car could move with batteries (a few days ago) but for some reason, the base died and couldnt move 1 cm. Ohwell, at least we know how to make/ destroy a solar car, which is a somewhat useless skill.
2. Free lunch. (Self-explainatory) = WIN
3. Went to meet classmates, who fortunately came after SPVC, so they dont see and cry over our marvellous defeat. But unfortunately, 3faith supporters compared to the other class was like 1:2. (Not a big deal actually, until mayshuen complained about it on fb lol)
4. Waited damn long for the opening ceremony of ENGINEERING WEEK. Meanwhile, I amused myself by shaking the whole row of chairs (which rocked dangerously due to moments) and annoy mayshuen with loud, lousy beatboxing. (until the dude 2 rows in front turned around to stare)
5. Engineering week's theme of the year: "Its not magic, its
harry potter engineering."
Some VIP dude went up to give a very enlightening, boring speech, and at the end said "I hereby declare engineering week o~~~"
Me: "what the heck, did he just declare engineering week OVER?"
Yuhui: "No, he said "open"
Polys showed a couple of propaganda videos, which unexpectedly worked. Damn, I feel like forfeiting JC for poly now. ._.
Followed by magic show by this joker teacher. ('its not magic, its engineering', yeah right.) but really, I doubt anything he did was linked to engineering. Haha.
Random skits etcetc.
Best part: They showed a vid of SPVC earlier in the day. And I got alot of air time lol. Mostly me sleeping and fiddling with Xinlu's car. Damn joke. The pig car still got more air time than me though. Freaking imba lah that car.
6. ESQ (engineering science quiz) was super exciting. (not. Lol.) Me, Yuhui and mayshuen were swearing like nuts during the buzzer section and at wrong questions. Hahah. Apparantly, Xinlu's group only spammed buzzing at the last 2 questions. But ohwell, they got 3rd place man! Not bad.
7. Lucky draw was fail. Mostly because this dude called Bryan had his name called out like 5+ times. He prolly asked his whole school to write his name man. Plus the dude drawing out the names must have had a hand that only attracts to chestnut drive's entries. Ohwell.
End. Kudos to Mayshuen and Yuhui, who without, might result in a trishaw instead of a solar car.

Whoo, finally, an end-of-exams celebration! (I know, I'm slow.)
With kieron and chris, which is awesome.
Played basketball, in which I owned. Hahah. Seriously, after exams, even though the confidence of playing/shooting hoops is lost, when you're out there in front of the hoop, everything comes back. Played the retarded HORSE game, which if you spell out the entire word by missing hoops, you lose. Apparantly, 5 letters aren't sufficient for good entertainment, so the horse became a dragon to an elephant. (I suggested using my full name. Lol.)
Best part: I was passing ball to kieron, when out of nowhere, chris came out from behind for godness knows why. And woots, I got a head-on collision. (on accident of course) Good thing it wasnt exam period or I'd get a concussion and fail or something.
Went back to kieron's house and played random ds games via download. Bleach was fail cos kept getting first blooded, and wth, I didnt know Bonnie/ Orihime could actually be played well. Haha.
Kieron's cat is super amusing I tell you. Has random tail spasms; the ability to continue sleeping even after being whacked by a tennis ball and to shift into yoga position by stirring in her sleep. Haha.
Met chris' friends, james and andy, and played pool (FOR THE FIRST TIME) at serangoon CC afterwards. And I felt ALOT of beginner's luck. ALOT. It wasn't bad, really.
Well, yeah, the end.

After laning with the ycs exco people, I can hereby conclude that
MY GAMING SKILLS
SUCK.
Like,
SUCK, in bold and italics and caps.
Geez, only 1 kill in dota (not ks) and like 4 kills in CS. (I mean, people get 20++ kills, I get FOUR.)
Hopeless sia.
Nvm, its the passion that counts! Lol.
On a lighter note, even if my gaming skills are going downwards, drawing skills have improved man.
And I cant help but admire the (not-so-epic) dragon I drew ystd.

to

Haha, I cant help it! The transformation from a sketch to a drawing with details is just cool.

Games day today.
And I can't help but emphasize that this is the LAST games day held in the premises (I hate that phrase) and for our cohort.
Which only means we made this year's games day a super awesome one.
Whole "bball gang" or whatever you want to callit, went to play captains ball, in which we owned.
First game was worst- Guixian (quite typically) used her whole body to block the ball, and fell and sustained multiple injuries. While I took the ball and scored. Haha, I put my hat off to Guixian sia. Cos without that extra score, we would've gotten a tie, which will result in a lower score, which will, ultimately, result in us not being able to enter the semi finals.
And YESH we got into the FINALS. Which is amazing. But aiyah, Wisdom play so zai, so ended up 2nd. Good enough thou. :D
ARIGATOU 3FAITH FOR BEING SUCH AN AWESOME CLASS!

After countless tutorials on how to use gimp2 (another non-user-friendly interface. To me.), and result!:

Yes, its a poring. For anyone curious out there, no, I'm not playing ragnarok anymore.
Not the best shading on Earth, cos using a mouse to shade is super hard when you dont have the curve tool. ._.
But hey, its a first.
And I've just realised this' the first drawing I've drawn for the year. Wasted.
@1:10 AM
SPVC practice session today was 1 word: EPIC FAIL.
I mean, the stupid solar car doesnt even move. But at least we have mdm suah's physics theory.
Like how putting the gears to the side of 1 wheel (not the whole axel) actually reduces moments.
And how air resistance needs to be reduced by aerodynamics.
And how we need 3 wheels instead of 4. (Which I don't know how relates to physics)
Yeah, hopefully if we win, we get to keep the money and earn some glory (no, not for the school). And even if we dont, I still get a refund for buying 3 motors and wires and switch etc.
Anyways. Still cant shake off the feeling that my mind is working damn subconsciously. Like you know the feeling when you're trying to study social studies, but instead, you're just staring at the book and nothing goes in. Not exactly subconciously, but you get the idea.
Or maybe I'm just tired.
Either way, I still suck at playing wc3 maps with a subconscious mind.
I can do awesome when I'm thinking. No, really. (I'm lying)

After like months of gruelling torture & studying (which I dont even know if the efforts will be apparant in the results), I can finally
SLACK MY WAY TO FREEDOM.And see, told ya, things WILL go back to normal after exams.
Plus after planning what to do during hols, I dont think I can even achieve them in my short lifetime. Eg, fully learning good relative pitch (Probably take up the whole holidays); go back to drawing/ drawing on the comp; become a PRO (yes, a PRO) at dota (WITH the theoretical knowledge of heros - which will take up a long time); BASKETBALL ftw; come back to school next year and spin pens and beatbox like nuts
Etc etc. There're too many that I cant organise 'em.
To add on, the 4 camps I'm supposed to go to during hols. ._. CC3; DTC; YCS EOYS; ANCO (Which I
hopefully doubt can make it)
Slackdom all the way.

Never imagined myself saying this but ITS THE LAST DAY (of the year) FOR MUGGING.
Anw, i have to admit, amaths paper today was probably the best/worst experience ever.
Near the end of the (suspiciously easy) questions (or maybe I got tricked multiple times), got hit by some kind of a headache plus this sudden drop in mood. And i kept thinking "Screw this paper". And I did. So I just slept, woke up and realised I havent check or done the questions I skipped. ._.
Don't know why, but I craved for sleep more, so what to do, I went back to sleep until the end of the exam.
Probably the worst way to have a exam, but GAH, I NEED R&R.
Elit tmr might face the same fate as the amaths paper, but I really hope not. (Screw elit!)

From physics TYS:
"A man who weighs 500N runs up a stairs of
5 metres in
4 seconds. What power does he have?"
"Superhuman."
