@12:13 AM
JUST CAME BACK FROM FALL OUT BOY'S SAVE ROCK AND ROLL CONCERT. That concert blew my mind to sooo many degrees and omg it was just out of this world. Singing along to your favourite singer, watching your favourite band come alive, with sooo many fans around you is just not the same as putting on your headphones.
So yeah, haha. Me and chris went like 4 hours before the concert started and unfortunately we were still really behind, but we could see some shit on the stage so that was good enough :D RACHEL YO suddenly told me that she has a MEDIA PASS from teenage mag so she could get the front space OMG and actually we could go join her! But good thing we didnt (couldnt, actually) if not we'd get totally moshed into the metal bar from insane fangirls with raging hormones (ME INCLUDED, YEAH).
The opening band was this Melbourne band called... oh shit i forgot whatsit called. But it wasnt bad la haha. After their last song, everyone were like waiting with bated breath for FOB. Everyone chanting F O B. But noooo lol they made us endure a sound, light and effects check for like 10 minutes or something GOSH. Hahah but WHOA when they came onto stage, the whole crowd just compacted so close, to be near to these ultra talented people, screaming like shit, and wow, that was amazing
Showstarter was none other than Thriller. LIKE OMG THIS IS THE BEST SONG TO START WITH. The lyrics were so apt to their comeback/ off hiatus as well. Definitely one of the best songs of the night.
So long live the car crash hearts,
Cry on the couch all the poets come to life
Fix me in 45
Don't you guys just dig how bad quality this pic is. At least you can see Patrick and Pete and Joe's crazy hair I guess. :D
It's insane how we just jump at the same pace, sing the same words, and mean the same thing. FOB sang for the unsung heroes, the kids who were maybe a little different. They found us in our darkest times, and maybe all of us shared that. So glad I was a fan since like sec 2, after Cheok showed me the really intriguing Happy Tree Friend MV of Carpel Tunnel of Love hahahahh. FOB was with me in the mornings before school, when I studied, on the days I was feeling lonely, or when I just wanted nothing to make sense. Definitely one of the best bands ever. FOB encapsulated my whole teenage life (wow why am I sounding so old) and tonight made me love them even more and see them in a different light.
So here's a salute to all the fellow fans, and FOB. PATRICK, PETE, JOE, ANDY. Your new album name is freaking weird, but we all love how you guys dont give a shit.
I SAID I DON'T CARE,
I don't care!
